Independence
Versa Claims is an independent business. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA), icare, any insurer or claims manager, or any practice management software provider. Their names appear on this website only to describe the systems practices deal with.
General information only
The content of this website is general information about workers compensation billing administration. It is not legal, financial, tax, clinical or regulatory advice, and it does not take your practice’s circumstances into account. Get professional advice before relying on it.
Your practice stays responsible
Your practice remains responsible for its own invoices, for lodging them correctly and on time, for using the right item codes and fees, and for meeting every requirement that applies to it as a provider in the NSW workers compensation scheme. Versa Claims helps you see and track that work. It does not take it over.
Suggestions need a person
Versa Claims suggests matches between payments and invoices, flags invoices that look unpaid or late, and drafts follow-ups. Suggestions can be wrong. They are designed to be checked by a person at your practice before anything is confirmed or sent, and the service never confirms a payment or sends a message on its own.
No guarantee of recovery
Figures shown on this website are illustrative and are not drawn from a real practice. An audit shows what your own records indicate is unpaid or at risk. It is not a promise that any amount will be recovered. Whether an insurer pays an invoice, including a late or disputed one, is the insurer’s decision.
Rules change
Workers compensation requirements, fee orders and guidelines change. We work to keep Versa Claims and this website current, but we do not guarantee that every statement reflects the latest position. SIRA’s own publications at sira.nsw.gov.au are the authoritative source.
Use of AI
Versa Claims uses an AI service to read insurer pay advices, whether pasted in or uploaded as PDFs, and insurer approval emails. AI can misread text. That is why everything it reads is presented as a suggestion for a person to check and confirm. See the privacy policy for how that text is handled.
Availability
We take reasonable care to keep the service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your practice can download its records at any time, and we recommend keeping your own copies of anything you rely on.
Not a health service
Versa Claims is an administrative billing tool. It does not provide health services, does not hold clinical information, and plays no part in treatment decisions.

Your legal rights
To the extent the law allows, Versa Claims is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the general information on this website. Nothing in these disclaimers excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
If your practice uses Versa Claims, your service agreement with us sets out the terms of the service and prevails over this page where they differ.
